All cars have two modes for A/C-Normal and Max. Normal brings in the outside air, cools it and delivers the cooled air to the cabin through the dash vents. The Max mode doesn’t bring in outside air. Instead it recirculates the air in the cabin causing the air to get colder each time it passes through the system. To get a hot car cooled down as fast as possible, follow these simple steps. 1. Leave windows “cracked” about 1/2 inch when away from your car. 2. Upon returning to your car, run the air conditioning on Normal Mode for the first two or three minutes and roll the windows down about half way. This will bring in outside air (which is cooler than the air in your cabin) and push it out the open windows. 3. After a couple minutes, switch the mode to “Max” and roll up the windows. Your car will reach a cool, comfortable temperture about twice as fast this way. Enjoy the summer!
