Dallas, TX – Rusty Wallis Honda, a Dallas Honda dealer, recently received the Gold Star Status award from Honda corporate, and in doing so, became the first Honda dealership in the Metroplex to earn the award.
In order to achieve Gold Star Status, all technicians must be 100 percent Honda factory trained. This means that every technician in the Rusty Wallis Honda service shop has completed technical training through the Honda training facility, covering topics such as general service, electrical fundamentals, engine, air conditioning, brake systems, manual/auto transmission, steering and suspensions, as well as fuel and emissions.
“We are proud to earn this status,” said Shop Manager Rich Starr. “We recently made this a priority of ours, and it is quite a feat to accomplish.”
The Gold Star Status means several things to Rusty Wallis Honda customers, including the expectation that the technicians at its shop are the most knowledgeable Honda technicians in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Dallas, TX – Rusty Wallis Honda, a Dallas Honda dealer, recently earned the Customer Satisfaction Experience Award from Honda corporate.
The award, which is based on results of customer surveys, is earned by dealerships who achieve a customer satisfaction score of at least 92 out of 100. Rusty Wallis Honda is the only store in Dallas/Fort Worth area that has won the award five years in a row.
“Dallas/Fort Worth is historically one of the most difficult districts to compete in, so it’s an honor to receive this recognition,” said James Higdon, service director. “We have an excellent group of employees here, and it’s a pleasure working with them and working for Mr. Wallis. That’s what makes the difference.”
Honda corporate issues the Standard Service Experience Survey to all Honda dealership customers. The survey includes 30 questions in the categories of quality, convenience, customer treatment, and value.

Dallas Honda Dealership Gains a Life-long Fan from Contest
DALLAS, TX – Rusty Wallis Honda (www.rustywallishonda.com), a family-owned Honda dealership, recently gave away two Mavericks tickets to Aaron Brezik, an Iraq War veteran, and his brother-in-law, also an Iraq War veteran.
Brezik, who served in Iraq from Sept. 2009-Sept. 2010, won the tickets by posting a comment on the Honda dealership’s blog and liking its Facebook page. Winners were selected at random, but Rusty Wallis Honda was pleased to honor the two servicemen, who learned about the contest through Facebook.
Brezik previously purchased a new Honda Fit from Rusty Wallis Honda and was so pleased with his experience that he recommended the dealership to his brother, who bought a CR-V.
“I’ve been in many car purchasing situations,” said Brezik, “and I was never asked what price range I wanted to stay in and what I wanted my monthly payments to be like I was at Rusty Wallis Honda. They were very helpful, and I really appreciated that buying experience.”

Dallas, TX – Mitchel Musso, one of the most popular actors and musicians of the new generation, will return to his hometown of Rockwall, Texas, for a concert Saturday.
Musso’s newest album, ‘Brainstorm’, was released Nov. 22. The album is his latest project since embarking on a film and music career at age 11. Mitchel Musso can currently be seen starring in Disney Channel’s “Pair of Kings” series. He can also be heard in the Disney Channel’s hit animated series “Phineas & Ferb”, which was also nominated for an Emmy.
Mitchel previously starred in the Oscar-nominated feature film, “Monster House”, executive produced by Steven Spielberg. He also appeared with Miley Cyrus in Disney Channel’s Emmy-nominated series “Hannah Montana” as Oliver Oken.
